The scheme, part of a wider redevelopment of the groupвЂ™s Miller Street campus, is a 15-storey block with 30,000mВІ of offices. Construction is expected to start at the beginning of next year.
It will serve the Co-opвЂ™s retail arm and is designed to be one of the most sustainable buildings in Europe.
The huge building is the first phase in a 20-acre regeneration project around Miller Street, for which an Arup-designed masterplan has already been endorsed by the city council.
