R&D Construction bags ВЈ37m Dumfries housing scheme

R&D Construction will build 542 new houses and flats in south west Scotland having won a ВЈ37.5m deal with Dumfries & Galloway Housing Partnership.

The contract involves the demolition of 373 houses and flats located over two sites in Dumfries and one in Stranraer. R&D Construction will then build a further 542 houses and flats on these sites and additional greenfield sites.

As part of the developments the firm will be required to build 232 houses and flats for sale.

The work is due to last three years.
